C.T. Studd: From Cricket to
Christ
“Christ does not want nibblers of the possible, but grabbers of the impossible.”
Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Focus: Your true riches are found in Christ.
1. Gaining
the Whole World, but losing the soul (Matthew 16:26)
--You are rich, there is no need to gain the whole world
--Don’t buy into the lie that your faith is a separate piece of your
life, it is part of everything you do
2. Nibbling
the possible
--Christ has made you rich for a purpose
--Don’t let yourself be satisfied with mediocrity
3. Grabbing
the impossible
--You need to walk in God’s possibilities
--Are you willing to ask the question of
what Christ wants you to do?
4. Take
in account God’s possibilities:
--Make a list of 10 things that make you rich

--Take your list and pray and ask how God can use your riches to bless
others
--Pray and ask God where in your life you have been willing to settle
for second best
--Write down one action step of how you can make this area of your life
significant for God
--What possibilities does God have for you? What would you believe you could do for Him,
but it seems impossible? Take time to
consider what steps you can take to see if God will take the impossible and
make it a reality.
